Museums in France
France is a country with roots deep in history and an wonderful heritage, there are museums throughout the country, not only in Paris where you will find some of the worlds, but also hidden in small villages, towns and the countryside. Paintings from the greatest artist, collections of traditional handcraft, prehistoric caves, botany, racing cars and even fire engines.
Many museums will be closed on Tuesdays. There are 2 national open days where most of the museums are open to the public for free.
